When we revolutionized bike frame geometry years ago, some people were skeptical. We got some laughs and even some side eye. A few thought it was a passing fad, but nobody’s laughing now. Actually, scratch that. A lot of people are laughing now because it’s impossible not to have a good time on an Electra. Point is, there are a lot of imitators out there, but none can come close to the original.

Mom always told you not to slouch. Flat Foot Technology provides an efficient, relaxed riding position that allows you to sit upright and not bent over the handlebars like traditional bikes.
RELAXED ARM POSITION AND WIDE VIEW OF THE ROAD
It feels chill, because it is. The relaxed angle of the seat tube opens up the cockpit, allowing for a more relaxed arm position and less pressure on your back, neck and wrists. Additionally, it lines your body up in a way to give you better visibility on your ride. Squirrel!
ABILITY TO PLANT YOUR FEET FLAT ON THE GROUND
Whenever you want. Tippy toe stops. We’ve all had them. Not only do they look funny, but they can sometimes be a bit scary. Flat Foot Technology fixes that by giving you the ability to plant your feet flat on the ground for a solid footing every time with absolute comfort and control.
FULL AND PROPER LEG EXTENSION WHEN PEDALING
Flat Foot Technology allows you to optimize the effort of pedaling with proper leg extension due to our unique frame geometry and lower center of gravity. There are some mechanical engineering details to back this up, but you’ll just have to trust us on that.

Years ago, we challenged the sacred bike frame geometry to create a different kind of riding experience. Risky, yes, but safe never has any good stories to tell. We moved the pedals forward and relaxed the angle of the seat tube, opening up the cockpit for a more comfortable position.
